Skyscraper is Demi Lovato‘s most successful single to date, apart from being what may be the most emotional song she has ever recorded. Although she is not the writer behind the song, as a singer Demi was able to convey the emotions of the song with her quivering and breathy vocals. It’s almost as if she was doubling up in pain when she recorded the song. Skyscraper also proved to be an inspirational song, not only to her fans but also for Demi herself as she struggled and overcome her physical and emotional issues around the time of the recording.
