1 – Hey Daydreamer – Somedaydream

And here we are at the top spot! Claiming the highest position in our Top OPM songs of 2011 is Somedaydream with his debut song Hey Daydreamer. The craze for the song started early this year and has refused to die down as it is now used in a TV commercial. Due to this, the song has not only become a music hit but a pop culture reference. I’ve personally seen many tweets referring to its lyrics or how the song doesn’t play while people are eating their ice cream. Playful, vibrant and fresh, Hey Daydreamer easily captures the Filipino “kilig” sensibilities.
