Charice has just released a new single Before It Explodes. The ballad is a song written and produced by Filipino-American singer Bruno Mars.
The powerful midtempo ballad has the makings to be another hit for Charice, whose career has turned for the better after Queen of Talk Oprah Winfrey asked legendary music producer David Foster to work with the young singer.
The song was also previously recorded by X-Factor season 5 winner Alexandra Burke as a duet with Bruno Mars. This time, Charice sings the song solo. The theme of being overwhelmed by love is beautifully set on equally overwhelming music. The lyrics and the music work together from the start and escalates towards the hook giving listeners a feeling of madness attempting to burst out. Charice’s big voice amplifies this. And I gotta say, Charice’s voice fits and delivers the dynamics the song is asking for. The thing I like with her is that when singing, she knows how to make her voice act. Charice is just in the tween generation, but if I didn’t know anything about her, I could have sworn that she has been through relationships the way she sings Before It Explodes.
Before It Explodes is now available as a single on iTunes. It will also be a track from Charice’s second album.

The song has grown on me I never thought that as from the first time I heard it, it can be this painfully sweet. Definitely one of the sweetest voice that ever exploded in the music world today.
