Big Sean and Chris Brown - "My Last"

American rapper Big Sean is set to release his debut album Finally Famous in May. The first single from the upcoming album is My Last, where the rapper is joined by R&B singer Chris Brown.

Chris Brown sure sings the hook pretty well, but I gotta give props to the writer and producer for coming up with a strong hook that sticks on first listen. The song is definitely worth more than its hook, as I find Big Sean’s rap verses amazing. The rap is so well-executed that it feels very natural. I don’t hear an artist rapping, I hear a musician almost speaking to me. The second verse particularly blows me away with the rhymes. “Since I signed to Kan’, I’m Louis Vuitton Sean, up in Benihan-han eating all the wonton”. Those lines just made this song wonderful for me.
