Bakit Ba Minamahal Kita is Angeline Quinto‘s carrier single from her sophomore album Fall In Love Again under Star Records.
As far as Filipino ballads go, there is nothing new or exciting about the song. I can hear Angeline slowly coming into her own as she sings more and more original songs, but I’m still waiting for her to fully blossom. Truth be known, I want to hear her sing more songs that sounds less like teleserye or movie theme songs. I don’t want her to be trapped to just that kind of music. Surely the winner of a singing competition deserves more than that.
The music video features the first grand winner of ABS-CBN’s talent competition Star Power: Search For The Next Female Pop Superstar along with the Season 4 winner of Pinoy Big Brother Slater Young.
I have to completely disagree with your perspective about the song as it really brought out much of Angelie's forte in singing. It may not be so much different from the songs of Roselle Nava and other artists who are known for their songs being used in teleserye; however, the way it was sang by Angeline had somehow elevated it from how it would have rather been initially regarded.
